I have discovered the Independent Film Channel (IFC) on cable. This channel gives full length, uncut and uninterrupted movies. And some of them are very small - probably direct to DVD. I had never heard of this movie but saved it and watched it because Zooey Deschanel is in it. The story is about a dysfunctional family (is there any other kind?) gathering for the death of the family patriarch. Good cast, which includes as the father (shown in flashback) - Rip Torn, mother - Piper Laurie, and the kids are Hank Azaria, Kelly Preston, Ray Romano and Debra Winger. Zooey is the oldest grandchild and is selected to give the Eulogy. Many sub-plots.
I don't know that I would recommend this movie, but it did have some good moments.
