Margot at the Wedding

A very well acted movie. Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jack Black, and the actors playing the kids all do a great job. That's the good news. I had read something about the film since I saw it and now realize that it is somewhat of an Ingmar Bergman tribute (think Persona). I am not a big Bergman fan when HE does it, and I think most Bergman imitations fall flat. This one is no exception. No story to speak of, not very funny at all, very dark, and no resolution.

But the acting is good.

Not recommended.
